Manicure day for Jeanne and pedicures for dad and me. Very enjoyable for all! We then took a drive east of Temecula to Lake Skinner high is a reservoir created in 1973 that is fed by the Colorado River. Lake Skinner supplies 2.5 million residents with domestic water throughout this region. It's a beautiful area with acres and acres of recreational activities including camping, fishing, a water park, and the home of the annual Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival every June.
We drove through part of wine country and saw a tribe of goats with at least 100 goats munching in a field and dad had to have a photo!
I enjoyed a nice evening of laughs, catching up and dinner with friends Doug and Aston at their home in Fallbrook while dad, Jeanne and the dogs stayed home.
