Wednesday 5/17

Not much to report today except that the dogs were happy that we were with them all day.  It was a very quiet, restful day...almost like it happened in slow motion compared to the days we're on the go.  The sun barely broke through the heavy marine layer and it was cool and breezy in the 60's all day. Dad attempted to sit outside, but lasted only 5-10 minutes before deciding to move back to the warmth of his recliner in the house. It was a good day to stay home and not do anything productive. 

The weather will begin to change tomorrow as the heat returns for the weekend! It should be close to 80 tomorrow and in the 90's Friday, Saturday and Sunday at which time we'll make another beach trip or two.  We plan on leaving California Monday or Tuesday to begin our travels back to Colorado. Heard from Mark that there will be a foot of snow in the next 24-48 hours where he and Francine live...so very happy to have missed it!
