Another beautiful day for a drive along roads none of us have ever been on with some roads being dirt with strange looking silos along the property paralleling the road that gave our imaginations reasons to work overtime as to their intended use!  We then made our way to the Temecula Valley wine country, home of over 40 wineries with tasting rooms.  Some wineries have restaurants and after tasting wine at one of the original wineries, Maurice Carrie, we had a delicious lunch at my favorite winery, Ponte. It was a gorgeous day in a fabulous setting for our late lunch. If you've ever been wine tasting, you know that when you're back home, there is no energy left to do anything else but sit in front of the tv until bedtime. So yes, we were slugs for the rest of the evening. But it was another great day on our journey.
